Tonight Enlightened Mama is hosting the very first Home Birth 101. Families consider home birth for a variety reasons, such as desiring a close relationship with their midwife and a decreased likelihood of needing medical interventions. Home Birth 101 is designed for families currently pregnant or planning a pregnancy looking for more information on the safety and logistics of home birth and how to begin the journey of finding a home birth midwife. Our evening will end with a brief Q&A with a small group of home birth midwives.
This is a free informational event designed for families to build their confidence in exploring home birth as a safe, viable option.
